Momofuku

One of my last meals as I close a chapter in my life. It was my Japanese best friend and his wife's send off dinner. The restaurant's ambience was casual and yet defined. The fugu course was in its finest, freshest and most refined. Indeed it was a touching tribute to friendship. As we got a co...urse, I would recommend one to get it for the experience. The restaurant offers four levels of courses with one course having more. According to the number of fugu preparations courses are named as benten, ebisu, daikoku, and hotei, with the last one having grilled and young fugu eggs. The base course contents would have the yubiki tsuki (jellied fugu starter/ fugu skin salad), tessa (fugu sashimi thinly sliced), fugukaraage (fried fugu), techiri (hotpot fugu), fugu zoosui (fugu rice porridge) and yuzu sherbet (dessert). Plus sake and nihonshu choices for drinks.
