“Warm wine and disappointing customer service!”
Walked past this place on a sweltering summer day in Nagoya. The sign board advertised their new Italian wine fare (4 white wines from different parts of Italy for ¥1500) Sounded good so returned to be told that the place was manseki (full)...there were at least 6 tables empty and 1 couple were leav...ing! Anyway told to return 45 minutes later...to be seated on the table vacated by the leaving couple!! Ordered a sardine starter,fried mixed plate ,baked oyster and a rice dish described as paella which was going to take 30 minutes to come! I ordered the 4 glass wine course with great anticipation only for all 4 glasses to be brought at the same time! Great if you wish to compare the different grapes and regions but not if you wish to enjoy the white wines chilled with the different courses! The sardine dish was good as was the oyster...the fried food was over fried with hard batter and the so-called paella was a big pot of boiled rice which benefitted greatly from some white wine and olive oil! All in all a disappointing experience and sadly won't be returning any time soon!
