We live in the area and go to Banzai for dinner at least once a week. We have 2 young kids (5 and 8 yrs) and they love this place. The menu is extensive and even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like. Our kids love the clams and the honey-cheese toast. Kimchi nabe is good as is the ...eggplant and one of the pork dishes is excellent (but I can't think of the name of it). The salads are all very good as well. There is also a wall board menu with items that change daily/weekly. Banzai is excellent value for a family. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I would say it is good for families early in the evening (5-7 pm). It is an izakaya though, so after 7 pm it can get smokey and loud, depending on the crowd.
