The food was awesome and the variety was outstanding. For the noon meal, it gets crowded fast. There’s ample parking, but it fills up fast. The food is delivered via a revolving conveyor belt system and you choose the dish, that you want. One big difference between this conveyor belt sushi resta...urant and others is the food comes to you in a covered dish. If you see what you like\want, press down on the dish through the little opening in the cover and the cover flips open. You can also special order your desired sushi item or non-sushi item (e.g., miso soup, tempura, etc.) and that comes on a separate express conveyor belt right to your booth\table. Considering prices in Japan, the cost was exceptionally inexpensive. We had 25 plates of sushi (usually 1 or 2 pieces per plate or 2 or more seaweed rolls per plate) and the cost was just over 2,000 Yen, that’s less than a $1.00 per plate, depending upon the exchange rate. In addition, you discard your empty plates down a shoot and for every 5 dishes you receive and opportunity to win a gotchapon prize. I would definitely go again. The restaurant is located on Hwy 139 in Fujinomiya City, Japan. Drive a little further up on Hwy 139 and you'll come to the crossroad where you can drive up to the 5th station on Mt. Fuji.
