“Sauce not to my liking”
I had tonkatsu pork cutlet at other places so decided to give this a try here in Nagoya. Unfortunately, the sauce they used probably not to my liking. Service is very friendly and there is free refill of cabbage and rice.

“One fried prawn 500 yen?”
We ordered YABATON-ZAMMAI, a set in luxury, it cost 2160 yen. They said that we can add fried prawns to a set. I added it. But I was disappointed very much. Though the big fried prawn as well as Tonkatsu is a specialty of this restaurant, it was not big. And it cost 500 yen for just one. To make mat...ters worse, after eating, I regretted because there is nothing worthy of special mention. The pork cutlet, a fillet and sirloin, are crispy but had an OK taste. Sauce is not good. Washy and light taste. Nothing is more important to a pork cutlet restaurant in NAGOYA than their own MISO sauce. In a particularly, Teppan-Tonkatsu, pork cutlet on the Iron plate, my first feeling was one of repulsion. They spread shreds of the cabbage on an iron plate and put a pork cutlet. And then they poured sauce in large quantities. The batter [bread‐crumb] coating and the cabbage are dripping wet. Pools formed on the iron after poured sauce. Sauce and water drops from cabbage. My pork cutlet was drowned.
