Our restaurant, Sadogashima-e Watare, is an authentic izakaya specializing in farm-fresh ingredients and local sake.
We serve oysters, in-season fish, and any other particularly tasty items currently available.
Made with plump, thick, and sweet oysters from the Sado/Noto regions, as well as sake lees miso paste, the Sado Oyster Nabe is our specialty. Sweetfish, rainbow trout and other fire-roasted Niigata fish are also abundantly in stock!
Especially delicious among Japan-produced rice, taste Niigata Prefecture's Sado rice in a first-rate earthenware pot.
Rarely seen around Tokyo, we also prepare many varieties of the scarce Niigata-produced Japanese sake.
