Gomihatchin Shimokanuki

I live in Scotland but I come every summer to Numazu where I have family. We have been going to eat at Gomihatchin for the last 15 years and it has always been a treat. My teenagers love it. When they were kids, it was one of their favourite eating spots already. We go with grandma, the uncles, cous...ins... Everyone has their favourite dishes. The food is scrumptious. Our favourites are the great Chahan (Chinese fried rice), their superb Gyoza, their different Ramen and I love their mango pudding at the end. The personnel is utterly charming and friendly. During the summer, their cool atmosphere with great air-con is a welcomed relief from the implacable summer heat! Their prices are good and the food is plentiful. Good value for your money! Our family can't recommend this restaurant enough and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have been for years. Don't forget to visit the Emperor's former Summer residence (Goyōtei), one minute away from Gomihatchin! It is a delightful place to visit and the gardens are very peaceful.
