“Put this on your itinerary!”
What an awesome experience!! They didn’t have an English menu, didn’t let that stop me. Their service was top notch, looking after me all the way through the meal. Was able to order their 5 course sushi meal and oh man it was phenomenal. If you find yourself in Nagoya make this a stop for dinner.

“Great Japanese restaurant with outstanding service ”
We had the dinner set and was quite blown away ; food quality was high, and presentation was intricate yet beautiful. Service was superb - kudos to the manager and all the staffs who went above and beyond to make our dinner such a wonderful one. Highly recommended!

“Fine Japanese”
Got the STEAK course. The steak didn't even need a fork and knife as the entire meal could be handled by using chopsticks. The resto is quite pricey though at Y14,000 for the 7 course dinner. They offer kids menu at Y3,500 and the other courses go up to Y28,000.

“Very good”
This was a 9 course business dinner do 9 people. Japanese food is not my favorite but this meal was exceptional, full of taste and variety. Service was also exceptional with attentive servers that had reasonable English. They looked after you without smothering you. Will return on next trip.
“Great sushi, amazing view”
We visited Kaun after reading many reviews about the food and views. It was not a disappointment. The staff pays attention to all the small details. We ordered a sushi set menu and nihonshu/sake. The sushi was incredibly delicious. Plus, the view of Nagoya castle was stunning and romantic. I'll defi...nitely be returning.
