I had eaten here on a previous visit and only ate here because it was about the only game in town. I was delightfully surprised that the food, instead of the bland stuff I had gotten last time, was tasty, elegantly prepared and served, and a total joy. I would like to say the service was impeccabl...e, but that is not praise enough. My server, Takatoshi Saito, was elegant, friendly, spoke English perfectly, and treated me like an honored guest and even a long-lost friend. I can't say enough about what an amazing experience I had from him! He even walked with me back to the elevator, saying how nice it was for me to have been there! The course menu I had included seven courses, and all of them were very tasty, of gourmet quality, and attractively presented. I even ate an "angelfish" course, which is amazing for me because I really hate fish (except for halibut). Takatoshi even went so far as to take a picture of the fish so I'd know what I was eating. The dessert experience was really incredible. All through the meal you sit there and see this huge table covered with different and wonderful looking desserts, and when it's finally time to enjoy this course, the servers bring this huge array to your table and you can choose whatever you want. I chose three, but I sort of wonder if you could have everything if you wanted! They were all very tasty, but it did seem a bit of a shame to have the beautiful selections carved up and served. The champagne I had was something I'd never heard of and it was extremely expensive, but it was really great! Cocktails were also just great. I guess I'd have to say it was one of my premier culinary experiences.

we didn't check the price level of the restaurant before we went and we a bit surprised by the cost of the wine especially. the cheapest menu was 14900 but it was delicious. there were about 7 courses and all perfect and delicious served. the waiter spoke fluent english and French and served us wit...h a lot of entousiasm. in the end we payed 65000yen for 3 person but it was worth it having a spectacular view over Nagoya at 220 m height

I loved the food. It was very delicious. But was surprised that everyone seemed to be celebrating a birthday in the restaurant. We went for our anniversary and I was a little disppointed after watching so much fuss over birthdays that nothing special was done for an anniversary. Maybe a happy annive...rsary message on our dessert plate would have been nice.
