“Interestingly different approach izakaya ”
Just next to the subway entrance. I visited twice on Thursday after nearby Japanese class. The master/chef there is really nice and great guy and speaks English too. As for the food, it was good too. Unlike other fancy izakayas, there is no picture menu and the menu changes basically daily. Since th...is is mostly fish izakaya and fish in Japan is always delicious and fresh, just go with anything he recommends. Just try it. There are two tables and otherwise you sit around the bar, inside which the chef also makes the food. Few kinds of canned beer. For Europeans - you can eat whale here too as well. I can recommend this place. Good price, an interesting guy/owner, simple place, good food, good location.
