“Delicious!!”
My partner and I had both lunch and dinner here during our 1 night stay in Nagano. Amazing food and brilliant service! Highly recommend to other visitors.

“For a last drink before going back to Tokyo”
Must confess that I have not eaten here (yet), but came here with my hosts to have a a last drink before going back to Tokyo. My impression was very positive as they had a decent wine list (considering the location) and the snacks that came with the drinks were quite tasty! I'll probably have littl...e channce to ever dine here, due to the nature of my frequent visits to Nagano, but this does not make this place any less worthy of a try! On their business-card they even printed all the "last trains" timetable, not bad at all...

“Great Shinshu sirloin steak”
The steak at 3,980 Yen per portion tasted much better than Wagyu beef. It came from the locally bred cows. The beef was tender, juicy, not having too much fat, not too soft and grilled to perfection. The portion was not too large, just right for our appetite. We loved it so much that we went ...there the next night just for the beef. On the third day, as we had to grab a quick meal to catch the train and all the restaurants were filled with people queuing up for seats, we went there to try our luck. Having conveyed our dilemma, the chef made us a hamburger and a tasty plate of pasta with tomato sauce within 10 minutes and we left again satisfied. Although the staff spoke limited English, but the attitude and service made it all up. I see many of the customers are local Japanese. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is located on the 3rd floor of the Nagano train station mall, and in particular the Shinshu steak

“excellent steak for good price”
Go straight for the shinshu wagyu rump steak. authentic, tender yet chewy in a al-dente sort of way, and the meat was succulent, with a nice sear. as good as any steak you can find at a high end steak house. at just 2300 yen for 230g, its a steal. Service by the young service staff was excellent, a...nd she was able to communicate easily in English. Unpretentious, hearty meal.
