“Great food unpleasant French manager Chris.”
Doneness of steaks was great. the sweetness was mudered by the Very rude French manager Chris. He was laughing at our pronunciation - crushed pepper as crushed paper. He went on to relate the incident to his staff in his condescending manner, yes we are Asian. It was surely a race discrimination.

“Best quality ingredients ”
Ingredients and service probably the best in the whole Karuizawa Prince complex. A la cart menu has enough to satisfy all tastes and a good wine list to accompany your meal. Service is what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel restaurant.

“Nice variety for breakfast buffet”
We came to Prince Hotel during winter for a short ski vacation. I highly recommend going to the breakfast early to sit by the window. It is very enjoyable having breakfast while looking at the beautiful view of the snow. They provide many local vegetables as well as other ingrients and the overall... excecution is good. For ski goers, you can definitely replenish your energy before hitting the snow.
