“Why not cook your own?”
Looking for something different / low cost recommendation from a business colleague, we hopped a cab and headed off to this place. Seems to be a chain style restaurant, but was bumping on a Tuesday night. Lots of families and younger crowd it seemed for most part. Anyone familiar with a Melting Pot ...in USA will recognize the business model - you order food they bring it to you and you cook it on a griddle surface between the table. No chairs - this is Japanese, but a pit underneath table to allow legs to hang down. They have an English menu and we used it in conjunction with pics to figure out what we wanted. Yakasobi was good and many people around us we're having all kinds of interesting looking foods. English speaking was limited but serviceable. Everyone was friendly and service quick. You have a button on wall to push when ready to order or need something. Cash only.
