“Amazing restaurant in the middle of Ginza!”
This place is great to experience the traditional Japanese cuisine, atmosphere and service. Went there for a dinner with some friends and was not dissapointed. Everything was so well arranged and the ladies were so nice you could feel they really wanted us to have a good time; providing menus in Eng...lish and explaining the dishes to us. The food itself was very tasty and diverse, from cold dishes to hot ones, all of them with the same good quality. I don't think I can remember the names of the things we had, but I enjoyed pretty much all of it (personal recommendation: hot pot meat). As for the drinks, you get to choose from an ample menu. I went for the Japanese beer and after that we all shared a bottle of cold sake (very good). Cherry on top was that at the very end they gave us our names written in kanji as a special present, so that was really cool. The final verdict for me is a sound recommendation for this place and just for you to know it closes kind of early, so when you reserve take that into account!

“Definitely interesting.”
Went with some friends to enjoy famous Japanese Kaiseki cuisine and it was quite delicious. We had several traditional typical Japanese dishes and, what surprised me, was somehow the combination of different tastes in the same dish. It makes you enjoy it differently. Best one x me was this pot tha...t takes quite a while to be prepared (cooked by a candle below it x around 10 minutes). Result is a lovely genuine taste that I enjoyed a lot. I genuinely recommend it folks, order it yes or yes. For those interested in their wine range, I recommend white x starters based on fish (Chablis was nice) and Bourgogne Pinot Noir for meat and tempura. And we'll, you will get your name in Japanese, hehehe. Everyone enjoy it as I did!

“Vegetarian Delights at Kitaohji Ginza!”
An unforgettable experience in vegetarian cooking by Kitaohji Ginza! Our group were blown-away by the selection of delicately prepared dishes on the set menu during the evening service. From well presented appetizers to our favorite; the one-pot dish! The quality and taste of the main course couldn...’t be mistaken! Staff members were attentive and helped us decide our every choice. An expansive drinks menu for all tastes! We’ll be back again for more of this and a nice touch with the gift vouchers to remember the special occasion!

“Excellent presentation and service”
Kitaohji Ginza provides excellent service with a traditional and authentic Japanese feel to it. I had the vegetarian set course with all-you-can-drink, which was exquisitely presented. Everything in the dish was explained to me, so I knew exactly what I was eating. From the fresh, crisp tempura to t...he delicious soy ice cream, it was a real treat to have. The servers in kimonos and the traditional Japanese dining style is one of the best I’ve seen in Tokyo and really makes this restaurant stand out. The service was excellent, with our server constantly topping up our drinks and talking to us in English. I went with 4 of my foreign friends and we all recieved our names in handwritten kanji at the end, an amazing momento of our time here.

“Great authentic japanese food ”
A friend of mine made the reservation to Kitaohji for a friends gathering in Ginza and it was a huge success. From the very beginning you feel welcomed by friendly staff in tradicional kimono, and at all times they were friendly and took good care of us. We opted for a course menu (snow menu) consi...sting on a 6 plate course. First of all, the quantity was quite good for a dinner, very high quality ingredients and, specially for me that have been living in japan for some time, it felt truly japanese food (we were probably the only non-japanese in the restaurant). Eventhough we weren't locals the staff speaks quite good English and the menu is also translated. I'd recommend ordering sake, because they are going to serve it to you and many people are going to love that (it makes for a quite interesting picture) Lastly, they prepared a farewell gift with our names written in kanji, which was very interesting too
