“One of my favorite restaurants in the Monzen-nakachou area”
This is a casual Japanese restaurant only minutes away to the north of Metro Monzen-nakachou station I am particularly fond of. I recommend you ask for a selection of sashimi as well as Daisen jidori (grilled chicken from Daisen). Also try kama-yaki (grilled head of usually tuna). The salads are all... excellent, green leaves with jako (tiny dried fish) in particular. For drinks, why not ask for a draft beer to start and then move to sake. They have an extensive selection of sake. i usually ask for Sakunohana from Nagano Prefecture which is dry and goes well with the dishes I mentioned. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere very casual.
