DELIRIUM CAFÉ Ginza

This spot get a thumbs up from me because, honestly, it's not that easy to just walk around Ginza as a non Japanese speaker and find an epic restaurant to eat at. And it's not that easy to book anywhere either, unless you want the whole all-you-can-eat-and-drink catastrophy. Delerium took us in at ...about 8:30pm on a busy, hot Friday, when we were frankly pretty delerious from lurching aroud Tokyo from one epic experience to another, and fed us fun and tasty Japanese/Mediterranean food, washed down with wine which we happen to like. They did it all with a smile and true international hipster swagger and I will go back there next time I am thouroughly overwhelmed in and by Ginza. Thanks Delerium. You were great.

I was looking for a spot to have dinner and stumbled upon this place. It was pretty busy but the hostess was able to seat my party of 3 within 5 minutes. The restaurant itself is a lot bigger than you’d think just by looking at it from the outside. There is a 400 yen service charge she informed us o...f before showing us to our table. After we were seated we were handed tables for our hands but it took a while to flag the wait staff down to order food and drinks. I’m not sure if service is generally like this or because they were busy. I ordered the grilled chicken, amatriciana with French onion and ricotta and the garlic toast. Portions were small, but shareable. I wish the menu gave some description of the dish. Everything was under seasoned and my bill ran me about 7500 yen. It was an okay dining experience, but I think people mainly come here to drink beer and socialize and not for the food or service.

Tried to go here...5 tables available and they said they were reserved. Tried making reservations and they said they were booked all tomorrow (Wednesday). They do not welcome Americans here.

Cold frys, ordered a hamburger and verified then they bring out a ball of meat loaf crap. They refused to correct their mistake and said if i wanted a real hamburger then i will be charged for both. I said no thank you, take the meat ball away and i did not eat with my friends. Paid the bill and le...ft. A year ago our friend was a chef here and we ate at the bar an never a problem. The staff is slow or stupid, not sure what if you ask me. Used to be my favorite in the area for meat. Never going back not will i recommend it to anyone. Dr. Adams

The food was passable! We ordered a grilled chicken and we’re still waiting, some 20 minutes after the other 3 diners finished their meal! There’s better!!
