This restaurant is a little off the tourist circuit. We were here because it was close to our hotel. English speaking waiters and menus are generally available. . The setting is very bistro mode, like inside a TGIF but brighter. There are no table cloths. And the wine list is so-so. The orde...ring process was a bit arduous. The waitress, for example, forgot to ask us how we liked our meat done. We got it medium rare. The cooked product was excellent. The tenderloin filet was as good as any steakhouse in New York City. But maybe twice as expensive. The menu quotes prices by 100 gram weight. What they don't tell you is that the price quoted is for the uncooked weight. So the bill comes to you at double what you might have expected. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood. But expect to pay dearly.
