“Lunch in Kamakura”
During a business trip in japan, I went on a cultural tour of the Big Buddha and then stopped at this restaurant for lunch. We were a party of eight (8), but we arrived at a good time with seating available. We took our shoes off prior to being seated as it is Japanese custom. We reviewed the men...u which had English translation, but the pictures provided were enough to know what you were ordering. We all placed our order which ranged from Udon Noodles, to Tempura, and Bento Boxes. I ordered their Udon Noodle soup with fish cakes, a side of salad, and a rice bowl with shrimp tempura with fried mushroom. The food tasted very good and I was very pleased with the service. The cost was 850 Yen (approx. $7.50). Not bad for the food we received. I would return if in the same area in the future.
