“Food was delicious & there was a lot of it!”
This hibachi restaurant is tiny, featuring just two hibachi grill tables. I highly recommend making reservations, although I am not sure if they are mandatory. We went for dinner on a week night during Japan's Golden Week (three national holidays in one week) and watched several potential guests tur...ned away due to not having reservations. The restaurant is located in a very busy touristy area where the Godzilla head can be seen. However, the restaurant can be easily missed. The restaurant's name is written only in Japanese letters and is located on the 7th floor of one of the high rises. We had trouble locating it, but one of the safety officers circulating outside was able to assist us. Once inside, the host spoke English, the chef spoke a little English, and they have an English menu. We ordered the mid-range priced beef and fish option. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of it! My husband and I were stuffed when we left.

“Outstanding”
Amazing restaurant with beautiful food and friendly team. Absolute gem. Hard to find but persevere. Ask the locals if you get lost as they pointed me to the lifts immediately.

“Classy and delicious Teppanyaki”
Our family (47, 46 and 17, 15 and 11) wanted a special meal to celebrate our son’s 11th birthday. He wanted Teppanyaki, and this restaurant was near our hotel (Hotel Gracery). There was no gimmicky action, but the food was prepared immaculately by the experienced and engaging chef. The ingredients w...ere delicious, and the steak in particular was of a very high standard with beautiful marbelling. At US$390 (including wine, sake and beer, and that was just for the 11 year old…) it was worth every cent. Some notes: we found it a bit confusing to book and to find (it’s on the 7th floor of a building that opens out to quite a lively part of town), with no English signage). The staff were all lovely and very helpful. And the floor of the restaurant was a little slippery.

“Hidden Gem - Highly Recommended”
We were looking for a Teppanaki experience while in Tokyo, and looked at several places in Akasaka, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. This one caught our eye due to the traveler ratings and menu pricing. One place in Akasaka was close to $150 per person or more! Teppanyaki Hama was much more reasonable, wi...th our bill for the *9-course* meal for *two* people coming in around $150. Everyone at the restaurant was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was intimate, the chef was amazing to watch, and the food was to die for! Every dish was flavorful and wonderfully presented. The meal started with hors d' oeuvres that included goose, beef, shrimp tempura, mussel, fish cake + egg sandwich, and some kind of delicious liquid potatoes (if we understood correctly). This was followed by grilled vegetables, salmon with several sauces over grilled onions, salad, 150g of waygu beef cooked to perfection with bean sprouts and garlic chips and dipping sauces, garlic fried rice, radishes, miso soup, and mini-pancakes with strawberries, banana and creme. We chose a cup of tea to top it off. We were filled to the brim with deliciousness and cannot recommend this place highly enough.

“Amazing food”
Amazing food cooked to perfection. Chefs very skillful and friendly. Hidden treasure of Tokyo (quite literally, as a bit hard to find even with Google maps). Highly recommend to anyone.
