The staff are delightful, the food and wine amazing, all at a great price. They make different sizes of the dishes so that you can try different things. The whole experience is wonderful. Highly recommended

My wife and I ventured out from our Hotel Nikko Kanazawa looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. This place was close by and I couldn't have found a more wonderful place. We were early in the evening and they had no problem seating us in the second floor restaurant. The staff were very friendl...y and took excellent care of us. We had the cheese sampler for an appetizer and and had grilled vegetables. My wife had cheese sauce with her vegetables and I had sausage with mine. My wife had the beef and I had the fabulous pork. Our desert of ice cream and sorbet were as good as the rest of the meal. The chefs did a wonderful job cooking and seasoning our meal. We could watch them while they worked. I couldn't have asked for a better meal to celebrate my birthday. After dinner we had a nightcap in the bar downstairs. I thought the McCallums 18 was very reasonably priced. Overall it was a great experience and if you haven't tried it you are missing out on some wonderful dining.
