“Memorable Kaiseki”
This is the kind of kaiseki that other establishments might strive for, and hope to attain. The atmosphere, the service, as well as the food all rate top scores. My friends and I had a very memorable lunch together and it was a highlight our visit to Kanazawa.

“Good Kaiseki at a value”
A pity it was all dark when we arrived for dinner. Otherwise the view of the garden would have enhanced the experience even more. Service was impeccable. But the staff had some difficulty explaining the dishes to us. With the help of Google translator, we figured out what went into our stomach. ...Unlike other Japanese dining outlets, food was prepared in such a way that seasoning used wasn't overpowering. The original taste of the ingredients remain distinct and the balanced blending of the texture, taste and flavour was what made the meal exquisite. We opted for the ¥10,000 per person set. Glad that we tried this.

“Excellent Kaiseki set dinner, beautiful building and garden”
Definitely requires a reservation (the English page on the website works), but go early to enjoy the garden before your meal, both the building and the private garden are wonderful. The welcoming gold-flaked saki was certainly special. Deserves its Michelin star.

“Amazing Tea Ceremony!”
This is an absolute must if you are staying in or near Kanazawa. The Tea house and Garden are 300+ years old and the garden is stunning. Not only is the garden beautiful, but tea ceremony was amazing. If you are a lover of Japanese culture and history you must come here. Make sure to book a... day or two in advance because they book up fast.
