“Yes to the gyoza here!!”
Came for the ramen but loved the gyoza! Amongst our group we ordered the black soy ramen, white shrimp ramen, roast pork rice and pork gyoza. I personally found the broth on my white shrimp ramen extremely salty but was told that the black soy ramen was ok. We also ordered the firefly squid whic...h was served raw and marinated in soy sauce and again it was very salty. The roast pork rice was tasty. However the standout dish for us was their pork gyoza with thin crispy wrapper and succulent juicy pork filling. One of the best gyozas which we’ve got ever had. A friend had the beef trndon stew and foubd some parts a but chewy but did enjoy her meal

“Toyama black ramen”
Among many black-ramen shops, this restaurant soup is not too salty for non-resident. Still salty, but not too much as many other restaurants. Located on B1F of the CiC building in front of Toyama railway station.

“3.5 stars. Found the broth to be somewhat salty.”
Ramen was good but the black broth isn't quite my type - I found the broth somewhat too salty. Price here is quite reasonable - not expensive at all. Service was good enough - waiters were attentive.

“great broth, generous portion”
black ramen with soy sauce broth, delicious for me. might be little bit salty for some people. the pork slices are plenty and the price is cheaper that most ramen resto. they also sell instant ramen (wet) for cook at home for ¥750. some supermarket in Toyama also sell it.

“Was expecting more flavor”
We made it a point to eat at this award winning black ramen restaurant which is just across the street from the station. Restaurant was easy to find in the basement of the CIC building which is accessible via a "X"-shaped crosswalk like the famous Shibuya crossing. The roast pork was tender but ra...ther small. Flavor was unexpectedly very salty without much other complexity. I'm glad we tried it as a signature ramen from the Toyama area.
