“Typical mall restaurant - ok tempura”
This is another one of these ubiquitous mall restaurants you can find just about everywhere in Japan. This one is in a mall near the Kanazawa train station where we went for dinner on arrival in the evening. It's on the 6F (many mall restaurants are either on the top floor or basement) of a large ...department style mall packed with all kinds of merchandise on each floor. Set up is similar and fairly nondescript to many other mall restaurants with nice looking and convenient plastic samples in the windows. Not a lot of atmosphere to speak about. We had tempura which was ok - medium priced - for the price you could probably do better but it was acceptable.

“Very Special Flavour Eel don”
We are very surprise for the food quality that this tempura restaurant presented to us. Tate are great and price is very reasonable. They are also very thoughtful to offer customers full order or half order of steamed rice just in case it’s tio big for ladies or kids. Tempura quality are crunchy and... fresh. Highly recommended!
