“Must Go in Niigata”
This is my favourite sushi restaurant in Niigata. Though you ave to wait in line for a while( sometimes an hour), it’s worth waiting. You have 3 options of seating. Sushi counter when you are alone or with a friend, a table by the counter for up to 6 or a room when you know what you are going to ord...er. By the way there is a separate Benkei Standing sushi Bar next to this restaurant which is also very good especially when Benkei is closed.

“Good Sushi Place at Reasonable Price”
Rated number one in TripAdvisor. The place is always crowded. There’re numerous kind of Sushi to choose from the revolving belt. Very fresh and reasonable price.

“Great sushi”
新鮮、美味可口的壽司，價格便宜。環境舒適。到新潟旅遊必去。特別特別推介：海膽軍艦，非常新鮮，只需520 円。Fresh and divine sushi in affordable price. Nice environment.

“Excellent sushi train restaurant”
A bit far away from the station but worth the visit. Be prepared to wait 60 min plus esp if visiting on a weekend night. The restaurant has an efficient waiting system and there are places outside where one can wait comfortably.

“Over-rated rotating sushi bar”
We saw the TripAdvisor’s rating for this place as #1 restaurant in Niigata and had to try. Very much to our disappointment the quality of sushi here is mediocre. You can get such sushi at any other sushi bars around town. There is no need to travel all the way to Pia Bandai just for sushi.
