“Fine dining at its finest”
I had a great dining experience at The Washing in Shinjuku. I ordered a selection of appetizers, including the sashimi platter, the wagyu, the tofu camembert, and the soba, and everything was excellent. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, with clean flavors and perfect texture. The wagyu was tender a...nd rich, cooked just right to bring out its natural sweetness. The tofu camembert was a pleasant surprise — creamy, delicate, and full of flavor, unlike anything I’ve tried before. The soba rounded out the meal perfectly, light and refreshing but still satisfying. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, The Washing delivers a refined yet relaxed dining experience with high-quality dishes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shinjuku.

“Superb meal and service.”
This was a special occasion for my wife’s birthday. And I got lots of brownies for picking it. We had the Kaiseki set and sat at the counter and watched the dishes being crafted. Excellent food and presentation and service was 5 Star. Only small serves but by the end, very filling. We have eaten a...ll round the world and both of us thought it was one of the best meals we have ever had.
