“Out of the 4 nights in Yuzawa,”
Out of the 4 nights in Yuzawa, we came here 2 nights for dinner. Definitely one of the best meal I have around here in Echigo-yuzawa! Very near Tokyo via Shinkansen Beautifully selected seasonal and local ingredients. The staff were also super nice and friendly to us even is so crowded

“Delicious ”
It was closed on Wednesday. Minimal English spoken by the staff but eager to help out. There is an English menu available and one on their website. Sashimi was fresh and very reasonable priced. The copper pot rice was delicious, my advice is to order it with the optional additions below it as it... is all steamed together and the juice of the options seep into the rice. Wagyu steak was so good too. Self grilled on a little stone plate. Saw the raw vegetable platter for dipping into a sauce, that looked fresh too. Highly recommended place in Yuzawa, price is good for the quality food you get.

“Great spot near Yuzawa Kogen and Echigo Yuzawa”
This is full of weekend snow boarders up from Tokyo. Great spot and we put it down as a good find. Marbled steak to cook yourself on the hot plate, delicious grilled fish and some deep fried mushroom filled with seafood – washed down with very affordable local red wine. The beer glasses were on the ...smaller side but that’s a minor quibble when the service is good, the vibe is positive and the food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. But make sure you book. We tried to get in on a Friday night but had to book for two nights later.

“Beautiful traditional restaurant.”
We had a private room, and though the staff spoke little English, we managed to get through the night very well. The ambience is enthralling and the staff are very keen to impress. We ate both raw and cooked foods and had a variety of saki to chose from. The prices were low, as is often the case whe...n outside Tokyo. A must if ever in Yuzawa.

“5 star every day”
A great find, service was amazing and food was brilliant! We ate in a private room sat on the floor for the full Japanese experience, the quality of the food was amazing! If you want good service and good food at cheap prices, then this is the place to go! The Sake menu was good as well
