“Interesting little museum and excellent coffee shop”
Needed a place to rest from the summer heat on my way to Higashi Chaya and stopped in this Japanese sweets shop/museum. Interesting museum showing off the various molds they have used in their long sweets manufacturing history. The coffee shop was nice and cool from the heat, the sweets served wit...h the coffee were very good. Service excellent an shop very clean.

“Incredible Tea House within a Museum/Store.”
When I was in Japan, I loved going to different tea houses just to try authentic tea and desserts. This was one of my favorite ones that I visited. When you enter, the first floor is like a store front to buy the little desserts, which comes in all sorts and flavors. The tea house is upstairs, ...and when you get up there, it is a quiet place where you can enjoy the view and just sip your tea and Dessert. I got an Ice Green Tea and my brother got a warm one. Both of the teas were amazing. It is Green Tea on another level. This is a Must Go and Do Experience!

“Great afternoon having matcha at Morihachi”
Great afternoon having matcha at Morihachi. I was in Kanazawa on a cold wet day, really great to have some matcha and Japanese desserts at Morihachi.
