“Great Lunch Stop”
We just went there today for lunch and loved it. Three of us had sushi specials with like 8 pieces of nigiri, miso soup, and chawanmushi for like 14 bucks for each special. The sushi was really fresh and big. We also ate the local favorite, bonito. It was nice, The smokiness balanced the tende...r raw tuna. Some add garlic. You can have it with salt and dip it in ponzu. They put us in a nice private room. The meal for 3 was like 75 bucks. Very reasonable, and everything tasted great. Highly recommend.

“Eat here! Trust me I'm super fussy about Sushi”
I have had the privilege of eating at some of the finest sushi establishments in Japan (there's no point in me saying 'the world' as all the best are in Japan) and I can proudly Add Orankuya to that list. From the atmosphere to the waitresses to the chefs, everything was top notch and everyone brou...ght their 'A' game. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When some of our party weren't sure of an item in the set menu they were more than happy to suggest alternatives and the portion size!! It was hard to find the rice! Then the biggest surprise; the price In LA, NY or London I would have expected to pay at least $300/£200 for our group of 4 given the quality and quantity we ate. But a bill of 10,000 Yen ($113/£65) was totally unexpected. Like I said, EAT HERE!
