“Proper local Japanese food”
Went to this restaurant with my partner’s Japanese colleagues and some other visitors from abroad. My partner is vegetarian and he enjoyed the food here - which is not always the case in Japan. The veg tempura was very good - fresh and crispy on the outside and soft in the Middle. Also tasty fried t...ofu. The rest of the food was good too and very Japanese - lots of raw fish, sushi and noodles.

“Cosy pub/restaurant near the main station”
We were looking for something to eat and a beer or two, late evening. This place looked cosy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an English menu. We had fried fish, chicken with garlic, grilled eggplant and pork in a citrus sauce. With four beers, this came to 3,500 yen, wh...ich seemed very good value. The place is popular with locals.
