“Japanese comfort food.....Udon and tempura”

Drove through town seeking something to eat and we poked our heads into this place - huge carpark in front, so easy to leave our car for lunch. For non-Japanese speakers it was a bit daunting at first, but the staff were ever so helpful and one cook spoke English. You choose the udon, then whatever... you want with it, add various tempuras, and then pay. Free tea and water. It was just right.
