“Very good meal”
While staying in the hotel and after a long day we really did not feel like doing the restaurant search so opted for pizza instead. Our only Western meal during our stay In Japan,we found it to be a very enjoyable. Staff were friendly - we had also called in the previous afternoon for coffee and ca...ke which was good I should add - and there was an English menu. Pizzas were tasty although I think there could have been a little more topping on them.

“Decent”
Hotel restaurant trying to emulate a pizzeria but falls a little short. They got confused, there's tapas on the menu and some other odd choices. The food is fresh and good but unimaginative. English menu is a help but transmitting to servers an issue. Stay away from the house wine.

“Good Pizza”
I ordered the pizza to my room and at the phone they told me that the pizza will be delivered after 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it when 10 minutes later the delievery service knotted at my door. Fast service and my pizza was very tasty. Only 4 stars because the dough in the middle of the pizza wa...s too squishy for my taste, however, this was my first pizza in japan and I wasn't disappointed! They used obiousley fresh ingredients and the prices were adjusted to that. Would go again!

“Really nice vibe and food to match - highly recommended”
This branch of Salvatore Cuomo is located on the ground level of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel building, very near to the entrance for the famous Okaido shopping arcade. I had the pizza Margherita, which was hand- tossed dough, tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. It was perfectly cooked... in their signature wood- fired oven and it was delicious. This was the second time I had eaten at a Salvatore Cuomo and I noticed right away that the menu had many different items compared to the first location. The restaurant décor has a lot of wood and is bright and inviting. The atmosphere was very lively, with a good mood about the place. This would be good for a small- to- medium (10 – 12) sized group. The food is great, and the service also very good. I highly recommend this location.

“New,clean restaurant with friendly English speaking staff”
Noticed this place in Okaido and being a Salvatore wine club member wanted to give it a try! Place looks very clean and welcoming and was quite quiet for a Tuesday evening. Had just a couple of starters with a 60 minute wine plan....good value for money and the Salvatore pizzas are always excellent!... Staff were very accommodating and having English speaking staff was certainly an added bonus! Good option if you want to move away from the traditional local food for a change! Very conveniently located in the Daiwa Roynet Hotel on the tram street in Matsuyama.
