“Fabulous French Food”
A characterful restaurant with friendly service and great tasty food. The fish of the day was accompanied by a delicious sauce and the lamb with lentils cooked beautifully. All of the art in the restaurant is done by the owner and the restaurant is brimming with interesting artefacts. Well worth... the visit.

“Wonderful Food Decently Priced”
This is hands-down the best restaurant I've eaten at on Shikoku. The warm, wood-heavy ambience provides a nice complement to the culinary offerings. I got the fixed price menu for the equivalent of $30: brown-butter garlic bread to start, salmon quiche, river fish with almond sauce, raspberry gela...to. I also ordered an additional dessert - chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The bread to start was good and simple, but the salmon quiche was a lot more complex. It was fluffy, tasteful, and accentuated with vinaigrette-laden mixed greens. However, it was extremely rich. The river fish was outstanding and so was the toasted almond butter sauce it came in. The raspberry gelato to finish was, frankly, the best ice-cream/sorbet/gelato I ever recall having; the flavor was intense and rejuvenating. Since the portions were moderate in size, I added on a piece of chocolate cake. It was clearly homemade, not too heavy, and came vanilla ice cream. Overall, this place delivers much better than I would have expected for the price.
