“Bringing you back "home"...”
I can’t believe these Tokushima ramen are not the latest fashion in Tokyo. I think I have just found my favourite style. Great soup taste, salty and sweet, hearty as anything could get. Thin noodles and the brown meat, thinly sliced, with a raw egg in it, it makes it so homey and nurturing and delic...ious… It is solid base that you can rely on. It brings you back home. Now don’t talk to me about fear of raw eggs. Table eggs in Japan are the freshest and safest in the world. While elsewhere consumers are worried about how the chickens live, Japanese consumers know how to tell fresh eggs from older eggs, and egg producers ensure their product is fresh and clean, this is the most important. These eggs are delicious, and the hot soup will partially cook them, bringing a density and extra texture to your ramen. Todai has kind service, it looks traditional, very Japanese, with a television on, and plenty of options such as rice and gyoza. You can also go for small portions too. Gorgeous brown Tokushima ramen, no wonder they have the highest ratings in the prefecture.

“Good flavor. Great Tokushima Ramen”
I went with friends and we enjoyed the heavy soup and good flavor. The place was clean and the staff was nice. The free raw eggs add a great flavor to the noodles.

“The best Tokushima Ramen in town”
There are many Tokushima Ramen shops in town but this one is my personal favorite. The food is good and the staff are nice. Give the Gyoza set a try.

“Great price, yummy ramen”
Yummy ramen at a great price in Tokushima. I really liked the Tokushima Ramen flavor, I do think there is too little protein in the meal, I added the chasiu pork and it was too thin but ok for the price. Would go again.

“A taste of Tokushima ramen”
We visited Todai to try the famous Tokushima ramen. Tokushima ramen is known for its brown-colored soup, which is made up of Tonkotsu (pork bone broth) and dark soy sauce. The ramen is often eaten with a raw egg (free at Todai), along with chashu (sliced pork), green onions, bean sprouts. There i...s no English menu; you need to place your order using their vending machine outside the restaurant. While there are pictures of the food, it's not very descriptive. We just went with our gut and chose a few things to try. Bring the small coupons that the vending machine spits out and pass to the staff. The soup is relatively salty for my preference, and a bit thick. But then again, preference for ramen is very personal. I would not go again. Parking lot available (4 spots)
