"Taste of home cooking" is our motto. We serve local dishes prepared with Sendai's specialties and char-grill dishes on an old-style fireplace. They are what you cannot try at other restaurants.
Seafood, food from the mountain, meat, fish, and vegetables are all fresh at "JIRAIYA". You can enjoy delicious dishes prepared with the local specialty ingredients. Very fresh seafood must be served as it is but our specialty is the whole grilled big-hand thornyhead in a stick, like we did in the olden times. We grill them at the fireplace which is at the inner side of the central counter. After eating the big-hand thornyhead, try our soup prepared with its head and bones. Unforgettable taste for our guests. It is also enjoyable tasting brand sake of Miyagi with our fresh seafood dishes.
