UOTAMI Tendohigashiguchiekimaeten

Uotami Izakaya is a short 2 minute walk from Tendo Station. We had just arrived in Tendo by train and were looking for dinner at a nearby restaurant with enough selection to satisfy me and my non-sushi eating partner. We had a variety of dishes that totaled almost ¥4000: tuna sushi, octopus & gree...n beans in basil oil, oven baked scallops & whelk, fried potatoes with anchovy mayonnaise for me and yam & seafood omelet (okonomiyaki) and gyoza dumplings for my partner. Everything was tasty and as pictured in the menu. The only downside was the cigarette smoke from other diners. The restaurant is part of a national chain.
