“Fresh Seafood in a cozy izakaya near the Station”
Good izakaya located 200 meters from Aomori JR Station. English menu with photos is present. The staff does not speak English. As appetizer we took a DRIED ROASTED SQUID 600 yen, served with mayo, very soft and yummy. We took a set of fresh tuna, salmon and octopus sashimi served with a bowl of hot ...sticky rice, a bowl of tasty miso and tofu for 1,000 yen. Good taste. Dessert was a honey glazed sweet potatoes and ice cream, very unusual but good. They charge extra 400 yen per person for a private room, but all tables are in private rooms. It would have been nice though to write it in the menu or at the entrance, otherwise it is always a bad surprise in the bill!
