“Great food, quick service and reasonable prices.”
My wife and I ate here the last 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The service was almost too fast on the first night, with plates arriving faster than we could eat them. We learned from that so on night # 2 we ordered our food in four rounds 🙂 The let us take our time between orders without standing... over us at all. The beef tongue curry was super tender and tasty and the sushimi was very fresh - both being our favourites. Smoking was allowed but the place is well ventilated and wasn’t “smoky” at all. Highly recommend the place if you’re in Sendai. We’ll be there for the next 2 nights as well before we head back to Tokyo. They don’t allow photos...though the sign (see pic) was not obvious at first lol.

“Excellent ! ”
We had never tried Beef Tongue before and we certainly weren’t disappointed here!! The portions were very reasonable and the beef was so delicious. Experience made better by being sat in front of the chef watching the food being cooked fresh. Although there was no English menu it was easy to work ou...t the food due to the pictures. We would come back again!

“Local speciality”
In Sendai as I learned ox tongue is one of the local specialities. It turned out to be very tasty at this small restaurant. I chose a version which included several samples of it: grilled, as a curry and in a soup. Everything was very tasty, and the staff was friendly.

“Second visit, 2nd August of 2018”
We were a party of 4, great place to taste the ox tongue, I totally recommend it, one of the best places for foreigners to try this Sendai delicacy. I'd come again. I went there in April 2016 and did enjoy it a lot.

“If you like Gyutan, MAKE SURE TO VISIT RIKYU!”
Sendai is known for the best Gyutan around Japan! Rikyu is a chain that makes Gyutan perfectly. The price is very decent, most things are under $20/dish. The tenderness, sweetness, and overall texture of each bite will make you realize what you've missed out on all your life! The soup compliments th...e Gyutan so well as it's a very light clear soup with some some green onions and some small cuts of beef. Make sure to give gyutan a try, especially if you visit Sendai!
