If you arrive at Akita station early morining, this is the suitable place to have a nice breakfast. You can eat as much as you want at JPY 900. A lot of menu for you ... rice made in Akita, local pickled and smoked vegetables (we call it as Gakko), eggs, roast fishes, fried chicken with local souse,... miso-soup… all foods are very nice and fresh, and the best is their rice! Rice in Tohoku area are super delicious and must to eat! Probably Western menu in place, more or less. At least, you will taste local food enough! The restaurant and hotel seems to be popular among Japanese businessman, not many tourists I think. No credit card is accepted this morning buffet.
