Located in the shopping complex (street level) behind the Museum of Art, this restaurant offers one of the best meal in Akita. I understand this is a very well known udon maker in Japan. Briefly, as you exit the Museum of Art, turn right heading towards the corner of the shopping complex. There's a Japanese website with all their offerings but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it on TA. So ...... There's a picture menu available and lunch specials that are well priced. I had the tempura udon lunch set and it was extremely delicious. There's also sukiyaki, dumplings set, tipsy business set and lots of other choices. The restaurant has a warm ambiance, the service was excellent and deserves to be mentioned. My only regret is due to my short stay in Akita, I was only able to eat there once.
