“Food is good, but the lines....”
We went at opening time: 11:30. But it was so crowded we had to wait 10 minutes for salad. The line for the other foods looked longer. When the line went down we went to pick up some other food, but all the food was gone. There was only one onion ring and about 10 raviolis left! Of course, they brou...ght out more food, but not quickly. It’s rather expensive forSendai: 2,700¥ and there is a time limit. Service was average. The food was good, but next time I think we’ll go later.

“A disappointing buffet experience”
The promotion online looked very appealing but it was not the experience we expected. The food was plain and underwhelming with a very limited selection. The service was very disappointing and left much to be desired. The Western food has been adapted for Japanese tastes and is very plain. At the b...eginning of the lunch service, there is a long queue for the appetizer and salad buffet but this did not continue throughout the meal (note that "tabehoudai" services in Japan have a time limit). The Pizzas were particularly, disappointing with very little variety and only 2 flavours were offered, even once they were replaced. There were so few toppings that they may have been better to serve plain flavours like margherita or quattro formaggi. Unfortunately, we also found a hair in one of the dishes and the staff handled this very poorly. They took the plate with the remaining food on it and quietly disposed of it without informing the manager. It was not for quite some time that another staff member informed us that the dish had been replaced in the buffet. No effort was made to compensate us for the issue nor did the staff take food hygiene concerns very seriously. They also offer mains to order but there was poor service with these as well. Our mains arrived at very different times and it was uncomfortable to eat while waiting for my partner to be served. Furthermore, the salad dressing to accompany my dish was forgotten for some time. Another staff member brought it later but made little effort to make sure that I understood the misunderstanding. Despite speaking intermediate Japanese, he only addressed my partner and spoke far too quickly for a second language speaker to understand. While there is English on the menu, do not rely on this: it is to appear exotic to Japanese customers and does not accurately describe the dishes. Specifically, the salad does not list any meat on the menu but came with meat in the dish. Since I'm not a strict Vegetarian, I was comfortable with removing it from my dish. This is very misleading, however, and would be problematic for strict Vegetarians or those who abstain from Pork products for religious reasons. While many of these were minor issues, together it made for a less enjoyable experience than I had anticipated. The staff did not take our concerns seriously and many seemed to be young and inexperienced for a restaurant affiliated with a large hotel. I do not recommend this establishment to visitors Japan, particularly considering the high-quality food and service that is available elsewhere.
