Although I have been at already many WaraWara locations throughout Japan this one in Tottori has something special. Perhaps it is because it is located in a basement which made it a bit outstanding. Anyway the service, which was great, helped a lot as well as the food. Although WaraWara’s menu is t...he same throughout Japan, you can of course observe minor differences in the quality, preparation and presentation. Most of the time these are in the details but nonetheless this location scored positively on all these points. Great place for a nice and relaxing dinner.

We've lived in Japan quite awhile now, so this place hit the spot given the international variety of its menu-Sushi, jerk chicken, Korean hot pot, Fried rice, Thai, pizza, etc. Sushi was pretty good, but they misunderstood our order. Portions of everything is small and unsatisfying. (We had to ge...t more food at Family Mart.) Oh and the edamame is not free, a cover charge shows up on your receipt after the fact. Cool salvaged barn interior, no segregation from smoking section though. There were so few restaurants open in this area, when we went. This was the only one that had a lot of diners though at the time.
