“Trusty reasonable izakaya chain”
This is a typical izakaya (Japanese tavern/pub) that is admittedly a chain but nonetheless serves food that represents good value and won't break the bank. The "nomihodai" (all you can drink) for 2 hours is just 1,200 yen (USD$10 at time of writing) and is a bargain within itself. Bear in mind, eac...h person has to order at least 2 dishes to get this deal. This is a chain so the price of the food is very reasonable and is held to the company's standard so the quality is very good for the price. All dishes on the menu have clear photos with English translations plus the amount of calories for each dish for the diet conscious. A very reasonable place to eat for those on a budget that also offers an extensive menu. I just can't give it five stars since they allow smoking.
