“tourist trap”

first time to visit Matsue. read some review and decided to dinner at Nekkoya. Wrong decision. We were assigned to a small counter (4 people only) facing the kitchen. The only thing is we can watch the chef at work and the bad thing is you know they are sub-standard. You can tell from the pictures ...attached. Nothing special. Black throat fish is not that oily. Rice ball is not roasted... just dripped with some so-called special homemade soy sauce.
