Ichiyuku

Great little Yakiniku restaurant in a small upstair restaurant in Hiroshima just off the shopping arcade. We have no Japanese other than the useful greetings and the staff no English so the ordering had to be done by the small pictures in the Japanese menu which brought some interesting appetisers b...ut delicious nigiri followed by a selection of prime meat and vegetables for grilling on the small gas barbecue recessed into our counter seat garnished with Japanese pickles and salad. Being a counter seated restaurant all had a view of the two chefs preparing the produce with small privacy screens between patrons. Fabulous dining experience.
