“BBQ with a huge choice of cuts”
Lovely small restaurant, bar counter, order food via QR code and it arrives beautifully bbq’d with limitless cabbage.

“Local yakitori joint”
Teki is a small barbecue joint in downtown Hiroshima. It is a lively place to sample yakitori, or Japanese skewers. The skewer set is a great option to taste a bit of everything. The chicken barbecue is our favourite. The vibe is amazing and staff passionate about the food. Price is reasonable. Engl...ish menu, although a basic version, is available.

“A Gem of a place with wonderful staff”
Second time in japan, basically speak no japanese but other half speaks enough to order and get by. However the staff were incredible with enough english to make you comfortable and were amazing to us from the start giving us a seat at the bar. The food is frankly incredible. The best skewers i have... had the pleasure of eating in japan. The 7 kinda of kushiyaki is an absolute winner with nothing too "exotic" if people are nervous about trying new things. This is very safe with pork belly beef and the most exotic being chicken neck which is very much like thigh being juicy and slightly springy. If you want to go off the rails a little the chicken heart is fantastic ! Genuinly left feeling like a local and possibly my favourite night out in hiroshima in..forever. highly recommend.
