“Very good French style dinner”
I had dinner in this restaurant as part of a group. The building is very attractive and reflects the local vernacular. The French style food (with a bit of Japanese influence) was very good. Our group had been given some very mediocre meals at other restaurants on our tour so it was a real pleasure ...to eat here.

“French restaurant in old Kurashiki”
Hachikengura is in the Kurashiki Art Hotel very close to the canal area. It serves set course dinner menus. The food is French heavily influenced by Japanese. It is fresh and competent but not exciting and Westerners many be a bit disappointed if expecting rich French food. This is Japanese in app...roach and in size. We enjoyed our evening.
