To be honest everything is ok in this restaurant. Well, they don’t speak one word English, there is no menu in English, but the food is good. But in the end I felt very uncomfortable because when I paid the bill it was at three times more than in any other restaurant I had in Japan. I figured out th...at there are at least two things on the bill I didn’t eat. One simple fish is on the bill for almost 4.000 yen which is an incredible amount for Japan. So I’m warning everybody, take care when you go to this restaurant and check everything you order (which is difficult because nobody speaks English. 🥲🥲

Beautiful Japanese resteraunt - sensational food, creatively presented. We were embarrassed that we did not speak any Japanese but the staff were very patient and attentive - helping us choose some delicious dishes and making our night one to remeber :)

we visited Kurashiki in spring 2012 and had dinner in Hisa. It was a very nice dinning experience. We went there again in fall 2014 and visited the restaurant again. Hisa didn't disappointed us. They keep the same high quality standard. We ordered some of the signature dishes which we had 2 years ag...o. Attached some pictures. don't forget to make reservation.
