SASASUSHI

This is really a hole in the wall type of place. Hidden in a back lane with 2 small rooms and 8 counter seats, served by a mother and son team with a helper. Sushi was fresh and tasty. The hot food was also very well done. My friend who does not normally eat much fishes, ate the whole portion of g...rilled fish! Everything was made fresh on the spot including the not to be missed excellent miso soup! The whole team at the restaurant were very warm and constantly looking at how to please their customers despite we do not speak Japanese. They have a hand held translator device to help them to communicate with us.

Sasa sushi is definitely the most delicious sushi in western Japan. We first visited Sasa sushi over 30 years ago and are still regular customers. It is famous in Tottori for its friendly service, attention to detail and most important- the great sushi.
