“Great buffet”
The evening buffet has some great choices of Western and Japanese food. It is not the usual staples, but includes some more imaginative seafood dishes and nicely done steak. For deserts there are various cakes and a soft serve ice cream machine.

“Food glorious food”
A cold night with snow and hail but the restaurant was warm and inviting - the largest steak I have had in Japan enhanced with a bewildering array of other dishes - drinks included in the reasonable cost

“Excellent beef in nice surroundings”
Our main reason for eating at Mosoro was convenience; right in our hotel on a chilly evening. The surprise was the excellent beef, available a la carte or as part of a set meal. We chose the set meal, and were not disappointed. Although the serving size of beef was not up to American expectations..., the quality was outstanding. However, I suggest avoiding the wine and stick to beer; we tried three (both reds and whites) and were not happy with any of them.

“A buffet with quality, quantity, AND variety!”
Shangri-la, is the restaurant on the ground floor of the Tokyu-Inn Hotel Chain, Matsue Branch. Located just opposite Matsue JR station. They offer a buffet lunch from noon, and an a la carte menu in the evenings. During the buffet, both western and Japanese tastes are catered for. (breads,rice,noo...dles,potato chips) And even local specialities get a look in, eg. shijimi miso soup, eel, etc. (of course menu is due to changes) Friendly service, willing to answer any q's you might have etc.
