“Food is good but staff could be friendlier”
This is on the 6th floor of Tenmaya Dept. Store. We had eaten at the udon place next door the night before (Udon Sugichaya) and they were super-friendly and welcoming as well as being very tasty, and I was craving Japanese-style pasta, so we came here for dinner. The waitress seated us but seemed a ...little discomfited by our presence and did not make any effort to smile or be friendly. I almost felt like maybe we should turn around and leave. We ended up ordering pizza and pasta, and everything was very tasty. We noticed that the girl cooking the food was looking at us (we were the only ones there) so maybe foreigners don't go to this shop very often. When we checked out, the cashier man was perfectly nice. I can't remember if they had an English menu, but they have the wax display in front so it should not be a shock that foreigners might wander in.
